The KahBang Audience Award is also the Best Film of the festival.

Category Rules

Short films must be kept under 20 minutes. We welcome both narrative and documentary shorts.

If you are submitting a Horror film, please note that we have added a Horror Shorts Category to the festival.

Press Kits requirements for Short Films include at least two high resolution stills for use in print and web. A biography of the Director, Writer and Producer are strongly encouraged.

For both screening and exhibition purposes we screen only DVD (Region 0 or 1).

You are encouraged to use the online screener option, KahBang Film is unable to return DVD screeners.
