Category Rules

Films that are accepted into the Denver International Film Festival should NOT have screened on television or the Denver/Boulder metro area prior to the dates of the festival.

A copy of your current Student ID is required if you are submitting with student entry fee. Please be sure to include it with the preview copy of your film!

As of 2008, the First Look Student Film Festival has become a component of DFF. The First Look Student Film Section is for films 30 minutes and under. Films OVER 30 minutes should be submitted in the regular shorts category.
