Category Rules

Though all films that are at least Chicago premieres are accepted in this category, to be eligible for the New Directors Competition, films may NOT have U.S. Distribution and MUST be at least a U.S. Premiere. Films that do not meet these requirements may still be programmed, either as part of the International Feature Film Competition, or out of competition.
