The Google Breakthrough in Technology Award honors youth filmmakers who make innovative use of technology in their filmmaking process, as well as those who go the extra mile in telling stories about how Computer Science and technology can be used to solve problems and make the world a better place. Category Rules

Organizations may submit multiple entries up to a maximum of six (6) per organization.

Works produced by filmmakers 18 years and younger are eligible for this category. All Youth Works category submissions must include with the application a scanned copy of a photo ID indicating proof of age (18 years or younger) at the time of production. Email scanned ID to gga@sffilm.org

Adult participation in Youth Works is limited to an advisory role.

Runtimes are 30 minutes and under.
