The Edith Lando Peace Prize ($500 cash prize) is awarded to the film that best utilizes the power of the motion picture to further the goal of social justice and peace in the world. Films in competition for this prize value diversity, challenge racism, depict alternatives to violence or bullying as a method of dealing with conflict, and increase understanding of another person's point of view.
