Category Rules

Films submitted in this category must be 45 minutes or under in duration, and deal with horror themes.

Films selected from this category to screen at A Night of Horror International Film Festival will compete for the festival's Best Short Film award.

All Australian shorts will also be in competition for Best Australian Short Film award.

We also ask filmmakers to submit their films through the Withoutabox Secure Online Screener system. The festival no longer accepts physical submissions (ie DVD or BLU RAY screeners). It saves the problems and costs of burning, shipping, handling, and storage of DVDs: making it easier for both the filmmaker and for our programming staff.
