The Peoples Choice Award will be selected by the festival audience

Best Actor will be selected by the festival audience on the same ballot as The People Choice Award
This prize is shared with other categories.

Category Rules

Student Films must be made in any Academic Institution throughout the U.S. or Abroad. Submitters must be the age of 18 or older to submit films. Films are accepted from filmmakers any age, although if under 18 a legal guardian or parent, or Academic Institution must submit for them. Student Films must include Academic Institution in their credits or a letter from the Academic Institution stating that they supported and encouraged the student in making their film while attending the Institution, and take responsibility for it's content.

Entries will be balloted by our submission judges, then the top films will be entered into the festival.

Filmmakers will receive one filmmaker pass per film judged to be screened at the festival. The pass includes:
1. Entry for one person to all festival films (if available)
2. $10 ticket to Cruise and workshops.
