In 2013, the prize was a $10,000 camera package from Panavision, and in 2012, it was a $9000 camera package from Division Camera.

Audience Choice Award
All Louisiana features are eligible for an Audience Award, based on ballots submitted by audience members. In 2013, the prize was a $10,000 post-production package from Digital FX.

Category Rules

Prior Screenings:
- Entries may not have been publicly screened in the greater New Orleans area prior to the festival.

Exhibition Copies:
- If accepted, the final screening copy of your film must be in our office no later than September 5, 2017.

Updated Submissions:
- We are happy to review updated versions of your submission if time permits. However, there is no guarantee that our selection committee will view your updated version.

Competition:
- All competitive slots are filled by films that officially submit. No films are invited to submit for competition screenings.
