Category Rules

The AAIFF Works-in-Progress (WIP) category is open to all uncompleted film and video submissions produced, written or directed by media makers of Asian descent from any nationality.

The works must be of feature-length and undistributed.

The works must be genuine works-in-progress which are still in need of more creative editing.

Selected filmmakers must be able to attend and participate in the Works-in-Progress workshop conducted by an industry professional.

Selected filmmakers must be committed to receiving feedback from fellow filmmakers and audience members at the workshop, as well as giving feedback to other filmmakers.
