Category Rules

Angaelica, is a not for profit organization focused in the arts and ecology. Our 501(c)3 is specifically focused on supporting and encouraging artists to collaborate, connect and create works for larger audiences.

Our Fiscal Sponsorship is a formal arrangement in which our 501(c)3 sponsors a project, individual or production company that may lack exempt status. This alternative to starting your own nonprofit allows you to seek grants and solicit tax-deductible donations under our exempt status. Since most grantmakers give to organizations, not individuals, fiscal sponsorship may help you qualify for more funding opportunities. Thus, you may be able to fund and start your project sooner.Fiscal sponsorship can enable artists, filmmakers and production companies with projects, films and events to share a common platform with our organization, thus increasing efficiency and effectiveness. In addition to legal status, we can help with publicity, fundraising assistance, and our years of experiential learning.

Artists and projects may seek fiscal sponsorship for various reasons, simplicity, such as improved access to funding, increased credibility, and low-cost financial and administrative services. Fiscal sponsors can also assist nascent projects in developing the necessary organizational capabilities to eventually spin off as independent non-profits.

Applications for entrance into the Sponsorship Program are accepted on a rolling basis. Once we have received all the requested materials the application will be circulated to our Organization for review. We will notify applicants of the Organization’s decision and if the application is approved an acceptance of Agreement will be determined.

Please provide all information that is relevant to the individual project or organization. All applications must include a clear overview of the proposed activities, projected budgets for at least the next 12 months, and a summary of the cast, crew, staff and/or board members associated with the project.
