We do not require premiere status. If the film has been featured in other film festivals, it is still eligible for Bath Film Festival. Films are also eligible if they have screened at a theatrical exhibition, anywhere in the world, where tickets have been sold. The Film may have been previously released on DVD or broadcast on television or the internet anywhere in the world.

It is the sole responsibility of the Applicant to secure clearance from the copyright holders of any copyrighted materials included within the submitted Film. Bath Film Festival will not be held responsible for the unauthorised inclusion of any copyrighted materials within or relating to the submitted Film. Bath Film Festival reserve the right to disqualify, without refund of any or all submission fees previously collected from the Applicant, any Film with any unauthorised inclusion of any copyrighted materials.

Foreign language submissions must be submitted with English language subtitles. Bath Film Festival reserve the right to disqualify, without refund of any or all submission fees previously collected from the Applicant, any Film that contains significant non-English spoken dialogue that does not include accompanying on screen English subtitles.

All submissions will be received for pre-selection online or DVD only. The DVD submissions will only be returned to the entrants if a pre-paid, self addressed packaging is included with the submission.

Bath Film Festival reserve the right to disqualify, without refund of any or all submission fees previously collected from Applicant, any Film that is not submitted on one of the recommended standard formats.

DVDs need to be sent to: Programming Committee, Bath Film Festival, Abbey Chambers, Kingston Parade, Bath, BA1 1LY, UK.

No responsibility can be accepted for any submissions lost, delayed or damaged in the post or elsewhere.

Films must be available to screen during Bath Film festival 14 – 24 November 2013.

Selection for screening will be determined no later than one month prior to the festival.

Prizes are non-negotiable and are not transferable.

Bath Film Festival reserve the right to publish, in any media, reviews, articles or stills from any of the nominated Bath Film Festival 2013 finalists, in conjunction with the IMDb competitions only.

If your film is selected we reserve the right to show your film at a time and date of our choosing.

It is the responsibility of the Applicant to ensure that films for screening are deposited with the festival organisers at least 10 days before any scheduled screening.
