STONEWALL COLUMBUS TRAVEL AWARD
This year, Stonewall Columbus will choose an LGBT filmmaker to attend the screening of their film and bring the filmmaker to the CIF+VF, all expenses paid.

Cash Travel Awards
This year we have $1000 to bring filmmakers to our festival. We also have an honorarium from the Greater Columbus Arts Council to award a filmmaker to help adjudicate the 2014 GCAC Fellowships in Media.

VideoBlocks Stock Footage Award
Over $1000 worth of stock footage from VideoBlocks will be awarded to filmmakers entering the CIF+VF as well as a special one year download membership to their sites worth almost $500.

A special panel chooses the best of the Silver Chris winners for the Best of Festival Award.

The Chris, sculpted by Robert Rohm, is 6" high, cast in bronze and mounted on a 3 1/2" walnut wood base.

This special award is presented to the film or video that is selected best entry in its division.

Bronze Plaque
The Bronze Plaque is engraved with an etching of the Christopher Columbus statue mentioned above.

Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention Certificate. Our Honorable Mention winners traditionally have done very well in other festivals.

CATEGORY RULES
Works in this division of the CIF+VF must focus on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community and/or experience in some meaningful way. The works may be in any genre: narrative, documentary, experimental, feature length or shorts. This division is sponsored by Stonewall Columbus <www.StonewallColumbus.org> and includes an up to $1000 travel award to bring winning filmmakers to the CIF+VF. Several screenings at the 62nd CIF+VF will be dedicated to LGBT works, also sponsored by Stonewall Columbus.
{NEW} Stonewall Columbus is also sponsoring discounted entry fees for
LGBT works entered in the LGBT Division. All works entered in the LGBT Division will be at 50% of standard entry fees. To qualify for this discount, the work MUST be from an LGBT filmmaker or have an LGBT character of substance in the film (ie; NOT a minor LGBT character but rather the focus of the film).
