Category Rules

Films submitted to the U.S. Short Film category can be narrative or documentary and must have a total run time under 45 minutes with no distribution in the U.S.A. U.S. Short films must have been primarily financed and produced in the U.S.A. Any films primarily financed and produced in foreign countries should be submitted in the International Short Film Category. Student Short films (University level), Youth Films (High school and younger), Music Videos, Animation, Web Short Content/Series and experimental films should be submitted in their respective categories, regardless if they are International in origin.
