Category Rules

The University Film Competition is designed to showcase films from universities near and far, creating a competitive environment for studying filmmakers. Films submitted to the University Film category can be either short (under 45 minutes) or feature length (over 45 minutes), and must be produced and filmed by students attending a University level school (college) anywhere in the World. International submissions in foreign languages must have English subtitles. Narrative films as well as Documentaries are accepted in this competition. Films produced and filmed by High School level students or below should be submitted to the "Youth" film category.
