Category Rules

Our Spotlight on New Mexico Filmmakers is a special SFFF program.

It is open to films of any type, genre and length (with a maximum of 120 minutes in length) that is New Mexico Made.

The only requirement to submit a film as a New Mexico Made Film is that is was made in New Mexico - Filmmakers from New Mexico who produce films outside New Mexico will need to submit their films under different categories.

Santa Fe Film Festival celebrates, promote and encourage local production through our Spotlight on New Mexico Filmmakers as well as other programs.

Accepted New Mexico Made Features must submit the following formats for exhibition...

Press kits are only required in digital format. Pictures must be 400 dpi. Please submit 3 separate pictures for production stills and 3 separate pictures of filmmakers

Postcards, flyers, and posters will be accepted but are not required.
