Prizes & Awards

This category is a competition.

1st Place
First place winner will receive domestic airfare to Denver for the festival, 3 nights hotel accommodation, and credentials to the festival.
Value of Goods/Services: 2,500 U.S. Dollar

Category Rules

• Screenplays of all genres are accepted

• Applicants may submit more than one screenplay, however each screenplay must be accompanied by its own entry form and fee

• Screenplays must be the original work of the person submitting, and it is strongly suggested that writers register their work with the WGA

• Submissions must be in English and between 75 and 125 pages (short works should not exceed 40 pages).

• Screenplays that are under option or have been purchased are not eligible

• Only online submissions will be considered. Either PDF or Word doc.

• In the event a screenplay has multiple writers, please list all writers (If a winning screenplay has multiple writers, the award will be split among all writers.)

• Please number all pages, include the title on the cover, and a secondary page that includes the title, authors name, contact information, and a brief synopsis.

• Screenplays will not be returned under any circumstances.

• Revisions will not be accepted once a screenplay has been checked in.
