Category Rules

The Louisiana Filmmaker Feature Film category is for films that are more than 50 minutes long and are classified as, but not limited to, Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Animated, Horror, Sci-fi, Fantasy, GLBT and Action/Adventure. Open to US and international filmmakers.

To submit in this category, the director or producer of the film must currently be a resident of the state and have lived in Louisiana since January 2011. However, submissions can be filmed anywhere.

Please indicate in the Withoutabox cover letter where in Louisiana the director or producer lives and how long they have been a Louisiana resident. Proof of residency must be provided such as a current and valid driver's license.
