PRIZES & AWARDS
This category is a competition.

1st Place
A special prize of €250 for the best young International filmmaker aged 17 years or younger on 16th February 2014.
Cash Award Value: 500 Euro

CATEGORY RULES
Filmmakers in the Junior Filmmaker (Under 17) category must be 17 years or under on the final date of late accepted entries, 16th February 2014.

Your film MUST be uploaded to our Technical Director, Martin Levis for judging. It is also very important to upload your press-kit to WAB, with photos and information, as we try to choose the festival's poster and programme image from the competition films' artwork, with the filmmaker's permission. Please include a short synopsis of your film (between 10-15 words ONLY) for use in our programme.

We will contact filmmakers whose films have been selected for viewing at our festival before 7th May 2014.

The Junior Filmmaker category is unlike any other category in that it carries its own prize of €500 and is unrelated to the Best Irish Short Film (Over 18) and the Best of Festival (Over 18) International Award.
