Short Film Audience Award

Category Rules

To qualify for the East End Short category you will need to fulfil one or more of the following criteria:

- The writer or director lives, works or studies in East London
- The majority of the films production or post-production took place in East London
- The film features East London streets/places of interest/history or communities

For the purposes of the festival, East London is classified as Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham, Waltham Forest and Greenwich.

Please note that shortlisted titles for each festival award will be selected ahead of the EEFF?s 2016 programme announcement, with all nominated filmmakers informed of their competition selection by 20 May 2016.

N.B. Submission is free of charge for residents of Tower Hamlets, who should request a fee waiver when submitting, quoting wavier code THR.
