This will include the use of the filmmaker's name, likeness & publicity stills, film or video footage, title, logline and synopsis of materials, in pre & post-competition publicity & promotional efforts. The submitter shall indemnify and hold harmless the San Jose International Short Film Festival, its officers, staff and assigns, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. Additional terms and conditions may from time to time, appear on our website, for example in connection with a specific promotion or in connection with the sale of goods or services. If the terms and conditions for use of the website should conflict in any way with such additional terms then the additional terms will prevail. By submitting to the SJSFF you understand your film may also be screened at our sister festival in Walnut Creek, CA.

All films for Micro-Cinema must be no longer than 3 minutes, including credits, and may cover any genre. Films must be submitted with a log line, short and long synopsis and full list of credits. Rough cuts and work-in-progress prints are acceptable as long as the final (completed) film can be delivered prior to September 1st 2014. Our preferred method for submissions is via online screener or NTSC DVD if needed with high resolution Quicktime files to be submitted for final screenings.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
