Films with mature content must indicate such on the DVD. Pornography is not permitted under any circumstance; there is a difference between art and pornography.

6) All submission screeners must go through a three (3) stage screening process to qualify for selection. After completing the screening process notification of acceptance will be sent out by email, post or notified by phone. Please do not email the festival for status you will be notified of selection when your film completes the screening submission process.

7) The festival will accept works in progress but the final screener must be received by the festival 10 days prior to the festival should you be selected. Films not received will be disqualified.

8) All films selected and notified by the festival will be sent to the judging panel for consideration of awards. We do not release our list of industry judges in order to prevent unjust influences or favoritism.

9) This is a true competition festival attended by industry and media. We also use audience voting and polling.

10) Due to the large number of submissions the festival only notifies of acceptance directly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do use the WAB system to notify all filmmakers of status.

11) As films are selected they are notified of selection and sent to programming for inclusion into the festival film schedule. Filmmakers are notified in the order of selection and not submission dates. Please be patient as your film goes through our screening process. We are unable to reply to emails asking if your film has been selected or where it is in the screening process.

12) The official exhibition format for the festival is DVD or Blue Ray unless announced otherwise. Any filmmakers wishing to have their film projected in another format other than stated (HD Cam, BetaCam, Digibeta etc.) must provide their own equipment at their expense during their screening, and accept all liability for such use and rental. Filmmaker provided equipment will be removed at the end of their screening and returned to the filmmaker. We can also accept films in digital formats of mp4, mkv, mpeg, and wmv. All short films are screened on a digital media system.
