CATEGORY RULES
IIFF is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any screenplay submitted and accepted in the contest for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the script hereby understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless IIFF from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screenplays entered. By entering the IIFF Contest, you represent that your entry is your original work, and does not infringe on the copyright or other rights of other people. The competition is not responsible for submissions that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, and we cannot return scripts once they have been submitted.
