CATEGORY RULES
International medium length films run 31 - 74 minutes and were produced outside North America.

Genres include: science fiction, fantasy, horror, action, thriller, animation, cult and fan films.

Fantasy may include Musicals and original Superheroes.

Action may include westerns, war, historical action, and martial arts.

Thriller may include suspense, mystery, and crime drama.

Cult refers to attitude as well as budget; a film that take chances a mainstream film won't. A film may fit one of the above genres but belong here because other elements defy classification.

Fan Films are films based on existing characters or properties, like superheroes or TV shows.
