Category Rules

Narrative Short Films should have a primary run-time of 10 minutes or less and are open to all non-documentary films. If you are uncertain whether your film falls into the Narrative or Documentary category, please contact the Festival. Films can be live-action or animated. Films can be unusual, quirky or even bizarre, but hateful, sexist, or mean-spirited projects will not be accepted. All material in the entries – music, dialogue, artwork, cinematography, etc. – must be in the project legally and be cleared by the producer for public exhibition. Submissions will not be returned.
