CATEGORY RULES
GIFF presents music videos of all types and music styles. There need not be any military connection reflected in the film content. Videos should be 10 minute or under in length.

GIFF does provide a significant amount of programming dedicated to the following criteria:

Videos that preserve the stories of military veterans in the arena of war and back on the home-front.

Videos that have at least one main character serving in the U.S. military who is depicted with respect.

For our international presentations, videos that depict the lives of international military veterans and/or the general worldwide struggle for liberty and democracy.

Videos of all types in which a military veteran played a key role in production are strongly encouraged to apply regardless of film genre.
