Category Rules

1. All submissions must be original, un-produced works and must be submitted by a writer/co-writer. All writers and co-writers must be credited.2. Contest is open to all individuals over the age of 18, void where prohibited by Law. 3. Entries must be generally considered to be in the “horror” genre and submitted in English as digital copy only; Accepted file types: .pdf, .txt, and .rtf 4. Features must be between 80 and 130 pages. 5. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm PST on the respective deadline to be considered ”on time”. Late entries or entries submitted without proper entry fee will not be considered valid. 6. Entrants retain all rights to submitted works.7. By entering the R.I.P Horror Film Festival’s script contest, you hereby declare that the submitted work is original and complies with the aforementioned rules and conditions. 8. Rules/Judging/Prizes subject to change without notice at the discretion of the R.I.P Horror Film Festival’s Board of Directors.
