Special Jury Award
The Graduate Special Jury award will be granted to one student from the Graduate category whose vision shows a strong sense of originality. There is no separate award for undergraduate short and undergraduate feature they are reviewed together for best overall in the undergraduate category.
Cash Award Value: 500 U.S. Dollar


CATEGORY RULES
Our programming will primarily be comprised of short films however exceptional features will also be taken into consideration. Graduate Feature Film includes Animation, Documentary, Multimedia, and Narrative Fiction with running time over 45 mins. Filmmaker must be a student currently enrolled in a graduate program and designate whether they are considered a U.S or International Student Filmmaker with proof of enrollment. Along with your official entry, please email info@studentfilmfest.com with a clear and current photocopy of the filmmaker’s student ID or a signed statement from a school official printed on school letterhead stating that the filmmaker was a student when he/she made the film. Please be sure to include your Withoutabox Tracking ID within the email. Applicants who DO NOT email their student ID or proof of enrollment after completing the Withoutabox entry form will not be considered eligible for the Festival and will not receive a refund of any or all submission fees.
