CATEGORY RULES
All entrants for the RealD 3D Student Competition must be current SCAD Students or recent SCAD Graduates, for the 2014 festival.

Projects will be judged on the following criteria:

3-D quality
3-D technical skills
Demonstrated understanding of 3-D theory
Creative use of 3-D, visual
Creative use of 3-D, storytelling

3D Short Films must not exceed 10 minutes. Running time is calculated by timing the head frame to the last frame of the ending credits.

All entries must be submitted for preview on DVD format, NTSC Region 0 or 1, or via online screener.

Submissions must be postmarked by Aug 1st, 2014.

Incomplete submissions and works in progress WILL NOT be considered, unless for VSFX category.

Regardless of original format, films must be available in DCP for exhibition.
