Category Rules

When submitting please specify whether your film is professional or student. The audience won't know, but its important that we do.
The 2nd Annual London Lift-Off Film Festival takes place around the first week of November 2012.

We accept short works in film in any genre. Submissions are
accepted on DVD or in digital format (see guidelines). Please label all work clearly with your name, contact information, exhibition format, whether its a student or professional film and the running time.

All DVD menus are to be removed or not present on the submission discs. The festival cannot be held accountable for faulty or uncued preview DVD's.

Final programming decisions will be made by the screening committee in
mid October. All entrants will be notified on the WAB system, or by email from a request from the submitter.

If you change your address after submission of work, please inform us.

If selected, a .MOV file must be sent to the festival on either a Data DVD, or by a file transfer client, like yousendit or dropbox.

Directors should also provide press kits including still photos and brief description, plus any other supporting materials after acceptance into festival. Although that is not essential at the submission stage.
