CATEGORY RULES
There are not many rules for the films that we'll screen at FilmQuest. But these rules apply to ALL categories and ALL films.

We will NOT accept films as an Official Selection that are:
1. Pornographic in nature. Or just straight-up pornography.
2. The dialogue has more swearing in it than actual dialogue (if you feel your film may need a special exception to this rule, you can email us and explain your case. We will listen.).
3. Films that are bigoted, racist, hateful, etc.

That's it. We're pretty open here.

We promote tolerance with our festival, and we will not stand for films that belittle others for no other purpose but the filmmaker's own amusement. We want to hear many voices, no matter how unique, but we also want to allow for audiences of all ages to enjoy, have access to, and experience the Official Selections of the Festival.

Finally, as a reminder, Feature Film Scripts are 41 pages or more in this competition. Anything less more than that, please submit in the Short Film Script category.
