Category Rules

By submitting either film or screenplay to iHOLLY the submitter makes no commitment to distribution or production through iHolly. Both the distribution deal and greenlight are optional offers which the recipient of the Holly may evaluate and choose to accept or reject.

iHOLLY is an online film festival; those films which makes festival selection will be eligable to be showcased on the iHOLLY website in which case a link to the trailer, short, or full film maybe submitted to iHOLLY for the show case. By submitting to iHOLLY, the submitter confirms that he or she has all necessary rights to engage in this submission and showcase process.

Content must be suitable for what would be an R or lesser rating.

The panel of expert and celebrity judges (listed above) shall make their evaluation for the Holly’s from the top 10 finalists from the film and screenplay competitions.

In the case of limited funding from iHOLLY’s sponsors and/or limited script submissions, the budget and length of the screenplay to be greenlit maybe considered as a factor in awarding the Holly. In the case that the yearly funding does not meet festival overhead, the greenlight maybe postponed indefinitely and the $1,000 award maybe diminished accordingly.
