Teen View on NFF Award
The Teen View on NFF Award is given to the short film deemed most inspiring. Award is bestowed by the Teen View on NFF jury, comprised of high school and middle school students.


Audience Award
For this much-loved annual distinction the audience picks its favorite films. All short films (narratives, documentaries, animated shorts) are eligible for the Audience Award for Best Short Film.


CATEGORY RULES
I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. I have read, understood and complied with all eligibility requirements of the categories for which I would like this film to be considered;
2. To the best of my knowledge, all of the statements in this document are true;
3. This film is not subject to litigation nor is threatened by any litigation;
4. I am duly authorized to submit this film to the Festival and it's Competition;
5. I hold the Nantucket Film Festival harmless from damage to or loss of the print to or from the Festival or otherwise during the course of the Festival's possession of the film. I certify that I hold all necessary rights for this submission and accept the regulations of the Nantucket Film Festival.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Works must be available for exhibition on DCP or HD-CAM NTSC;
* Films must have a composite optical sound;
* Entries must be post-marked by the deadline date;
* NFF will not consider previously submitted films unless the project can be justified as a sufficiently different version of the previously submitted work;
* Feature films may not have been released theatrically, appeared online or aired on television in the U.S. prior to the festival;
* Short Films may not have been released theatrically or on television in the U.S. prior to the festival. If the film has screened online, the filmmaker is required to include this information in the film's submission materials;
* If you are submitting a work-in-progress, screener must be clearly marked as a work-in-progress or rough cut. Only one version of the film may be considered, and replacement cuts are not accepted, so please keep this in mind when deciding when to submit.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
* Entry title and name of entrant must be on all materials and containers;
* If submitting a DVD, do no use paper labels, as these can affect playback and damage players. Instead, simply write your film's title, submission number, and running time on the disc with a Sharpie;
* The Festival is not responsible for returning DVDs;
* The Festival is not responsible for DVDs lost or damaged in transit;
* Keep a copy of your completed application for reference;
* Applicants can check the status of submission directly on Withoutabox;
* Applicants will be notified of the festival's decision by mid May.

ENTRY FEE:
* We accept U.S. checks, money orders, or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express);
* Entry fees will not be returned;
* The Festival reserves the right to impose a $20 surcharge for returned checks;
* Filmmaker agrees that he/she will be solely responsible for the delivery of his/her film/print materials to and from the festival venue.

IF SELECTED
* Photographs and press kit will be needed immediately;
* Feature film prints are due on Nantucket by June 1-12, 2015. Short film prints are due by June 1, 2015.

ENTRIES MUST BE POST-MARKED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE DEADLINE
