The Teen View on NFF Award is given to the short film deemed most inspiring. Award is bestowed by the Teen View on NFF jury, comprised of high school and middle school students.

Category Rules

I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. I have read, understood and complied with all eligibility requirements of the categories for which I would like this film to be considered;
2. To the best of my knowledge, all of the statements in this document are true;
3. This film is not subject to litigation nor is threatened by any litigation;
4. I am duly authorized to submit this film to the Nantucket Film Festival;
5. I hold the Nantucket Film Festival harmless from damage to or loss of the print to or from the Festival or otherwise during the course of the Festival's possession of the film. I certify that I hold all necessary rights for this submission and accept the regulations of the Nantucket Film Festival.

IMPORTANT NOTE - VIMEO LINKS:
* NFF no longer accepts DVD as a submission format. You must submit either a Vimeo link (strongly preferred) or Withoutabox Secure Online Screener.
* For instructions on how to submit your Vimeo link/password on WAB, please refer here: https://www.withoutabox.com/browse/filmmaker/faq/detail?section=screeners#q21

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Works must be available for exhibition on DCP or HDCAM NTSC;
* Films must have a composite optical sound;
* Entries must be completed - including providing submission fee payment and a Vimeo link or WAB Secure Online Screener - by the deadline date;
* NFF will only consider previously submitted films if the new version has changed significantly. Do not send the same cut - the film should be a distinct reworking of the previously submitted version. If you are in doubt, it probably hasn’t changed enough;
* Feature films may not have been released theatrically, appeared online or aired on television in the U.S. prior to the festival;
* Short films may not have been released theatrically or on television in the U.S. prior to the festival. If the film has screened online, the filmmaker is required to include this information in the film's submission materials;
* If you are submitting a work-in-progress, your screener must be clearly marked as a work-in-progress or rough cut. It's a good idea to include an initial card on your screener with concise bullet points indicating what is not complete (ie, no color correction, temp sound mix, etc). Only one cut of a film may be considered - replacement cuts are not accepted - so please keep this in mind when deciding when to submit.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
* Film title and name of entrant must be on all files and links;
* All submissions must be made via Vimeo link (preferred) or Secure Online Screener;
* Keep a copy of your completed application for reference;
* Applicants can check the status of submission directly on Withoutabox - complete submissions (paid entry fees and screener provided) will be marked "In Consideration;"
* Applicants will be notified of the festival's decision by early May.

ENTRY FEE:
* We accept U.S. checks, money orders, or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express);
* Entry fees will not be returned;
* The Festival reserves the right to impose a $20 surcharge for returned checks;
* Filmmaker agrees that he/she will be solely responsible for the delivery of his/her film/print materials to and from the festival venue.

IF SELECTED
* Photographs and press kit will be needed immediately;
* Feature film prints are due on Nantucket by June 1-14, 2017. Short film prints are due by June 1, 2017.

ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY NFF BY THEIR RESPECTIVE DEADLINE. TO BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE, VIMEO LINK OR WAB SECURE ONLINE SCREENER MUST BE RECEIVED AND SUBMISSION FEE PAID BY THE RESPECTIVE DEADLINE.
