Prizes & Awards

This category is a competition.

Mark Jennings Award
Award is given to the film that best displays creativity, originality and story.

City of Hope Award
Award is given to the film that best incorporates the themes of hope, courage and love.

Category Rules

- Once your film is uploaded and the payment is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email.
- Video submissions cannot exceed a 15-minute run time.
- The number of films selected and how and when they are presented is a reserved right of the Mission Viejo Film Festival.
- You will receive an informational email by May 15, 2016 confirming whether or not your film is an official selection of the Mission Viejo Film Festival.
- Entry Fee is $25 per film. ($5 of the entry fee is retained by Withoutabox to host the film festival event on their site. The remaining $20 will support City of Hope and Mission Viejo is a tax deductible donation.)

All films must be family friendly and contain a storyline.
