Animated Encounters Grand Prix
The Grand Prix winners are considered to be the best in their category by our international jury. The winning Brief Encounters and Animated Encounters films are both eligible for Academy Award nominations and receive a €2,500 cash prize.
Cash Award Value: 2,500 Euro

Animated Encounters Best of British Award
(£1,000, All films screened in this category qualify for BAFTA animation award) All animations either produced in Britain or by British directors.
Cash Award Value: 1,000 British Pound

European Animated Encounters Award
(€1,000) All animations must be European films (http://europa.eu/about-eu/member-countries/index_en.htm).
Cash Award Value: 1,000 Euro

Children's Jury Award
(£500) All entries under 15 minutes deemed suitable for young audiences, over 7 years old.

DepicT! Awards
Must be 90 seconds or under Must be completed after September 2011 Open to all genres and production techniques Prizes: £1500 cash and UK distribution of the winning film through the Digital Screen Network.
