Category Rules

Swedish films with runtimes of 72 minutes or longer.

Projects can´t have had their world premiere before November 20th 2017.

To be considered a Swedish film the film must be produced in Sweden
and/or be produced by a Swedish director and/or producer. The latter is
defined as either Swedish residents and/or a company registered in Sweden.

Note: SIFF prefers that all Swedish feature films presented are, at minimum, World Premiere. We will accept submissions that have already premiered in the nordic region, but the film’s premiere status will be taken into consideration when final programming decisions are made. Our absolute minimum requirement is Swedish premiere.
For Stockholm Impact we prefer World Premiere but accept International or European premiere.

Please read our regulations in full before submitting your film.
