This category is a competition.

1st Place
We will be selecting up to 6 selections to be screened for one winner to be announced as the Late Night Competition winner.

Category Rules

Late Night is defined as live action or animated programs with a total run time of 4-15 minutes featuring the strange, absurd, comedic, sketch, or
“what the hell?” that can run as a mini series or extended seasons.

Pilots selected do not need to retain any sort of premiere status, and are allowed to have screened at up to two other festivals before SeriesFest. In order to qualify, the submitted project must be either scripted or improvisational fiction and have a total running time of 4-15 minutes and completed production no earlier than December 2015.

•In order to qualify, the submitted project must be either scripted or improvisational fiction
•Submissions should not exceed 30 minutes of total runtime and can be given in episodes of any length and completed production no earlier than December 2015

The official judging panel, consisting of individuals selected by SeriesFest, at its sole discretion, will make a number of official selections for the competition. The judging will be based on the following criteria:

1. Originality and creativity
2. Overall quality of all elements and aspects of the production of
each entry, including, without limitation, writing, acting, directing,editing, etc.
3. Adherence to the particular format or type of program befitting of the series itself
4. Ability to create a functioning Series Bible for a running or limited series
