DEADLINE: The Deadline for entries to the 19th Annual Melbourne Underground Film Festival is July 1st 2018. MUFF 19 will be held from October 20-27, 2018.

Please send your completed entry form and entry fee together with a DVD or Blu Ray, including any supplementary material - stills, press kits, posters, to the Festival by this date.

ENTRY FEE: An entry fee must accompany each submission to be accepted. Entry fee for submissions to the Festival in 2018 is now 50 $ AUD per title, (or $ 40 USD). Make AUSTRALIA POST MONEY ORDERS or BANK cheques payable to: Melbourne Underground Film Festival. YOU CAN SEND CASH INSIDE THE DVD COVER.. International submissions must send an international BANK OR cash to the value of 40 $ USD or 35 Euros for European entrants. Entries without Entry Fee will be discarded immediately unviewed. You can enter using credit cards at WITHOUTABOX. Discounts are available there.

SHIPPING: It is the filmmakers/producers responsibility to cover all necessary shipping charges of films. Please do not send original material or masters for preview or screening. MUFF will not return preview tapes or screening tapes or DVD?s. The festival will not return screening material unless an SSAE (Stamped Self-Addressed Envelope) is provided.

SCREENING: From the call for entries we screen off two formats DVD or BLU RAY during MUFF 19. Do not send SP Betacam or other formats. We can screen all region DVD and BLU RAY as well as NTSC and PAL and VHS videos.

CLEARANCE: We confirm that you have granted MUFF the right to publicly exhibit your film and that MUFF will take all care but no responsibility for your film whilst in the possession of the Festival. We also confirm that if accepted into the festival you grant MUFF the right to publicly promote your film in all festival promotional materials, as appropriate. You also confirm that all necessary permissions have been obtained to enter this film in the Festival and that the film does not infringe the rights including copyright of any third party.
