CATEGORIES OF ENTRY:

COMPETITIVE SCREENINGS are for student and independent film or video works ONLY. A "student work" is a film or video that is made or the majority of work completed while the filmmaker was a student. SPECIAL SCREENINGS are for films or videos that do not fit within the Competitive Screening category. These include films or videos: (a) made under contract for a major studio or with major studio funding, distribution, or marketing; (b) films shown/ under contract to be shown at commercial theatres or on network or cable television; (c) films made, distributed, funded, or produced in whole or in part by UNCG faculty (d) films made by one of the jurors of the festival.
