PRIZES & AWARDS
This category is not a competition.

No prizes/awards entered for this category.

CATEGORY RULES
Only one film can be submitted per director, the duration of each work is limited to 15 MINUTES. The clearance of all copyright related to images, sound and music used in the work is the responsibility of the director and/or their production company.

We are a festival of contemporary works, so all works must have been completed within the last TWO years. Film-makers invited to screen their work will be advised by e-mail only, so please ensure that your provided email address is correct. The decision of the trust board on selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By signing this form the applicant states that they represent the owner/production company of the film and convey such rights to screen the film work in question to the Belladonna Film Trust and its other festival programs, including the right to use clips for event promotional purposes. The artist / license holder's rights to the work remain unaffected, particularly the right to reproduce and distribute or otherwise make use of their work.

The event is part of a 2 to 3 night festival held in Christchurch, New Zealand and is a not-for-profit event, it aims to showcase a range of contemporary international short works. For this purpose the license holder herewith licenses to the event the public and non-public exhibition right to use and screen the submitted work in the festival screening program and to retain it for the festival's film archive.

The festival will retain copies for up to 12 months after the event and these maybe shown as part of our free regional screenings to promote the annual festival or at Canterbury Short Film Festival screenings in other NZ cities in the year after the event to which you are submitting.
