This category is a competition.

1st Place
Winner receives; $500, certificate, two (2) VIP passes to the festival, and a staged reading of the winning script by professional actors. A prize package of one (1) InkTip Script Listing and one (1) InkTip Magazine listing for your grand prize winner of the Donna Rothstein Screenwriting Award and a prize package of one (1) InkTip Script Listing for your top five (5) finalists to assist in providing them exposure for their scripts. InkTip Script Listings provide writers with the opportunity to get their scripts read by InkTip’s extensive network of producers, reps, manager, agents, and other qualified industry professionals.

Honorable Mention

Category Rules

** Entered screenplays must not have been previously optioned, sold, or produced. All screenplays should be registered with the WGA and/or a Library of Congress copyright.

** Screenplays must be the original work of the writer. If based on another person's life story, a statement attesting to the rights obtained must be attached. No adaptations of other written work will be accepted.

** Multiple entries are accepted. A separate entry form and fee must accompany each script. Screenplays containing multiple writers are also accepted.

** The uploaded screenplay must be anonymous. DO NOT put name on script. Put title and Withoutabox number only. Your name and contact information is in the WAB system, available to administrators only, not judges.

** All screenplays must abide by proper industry format. All screenplays must be in English, with numbered, plain-write pages. All screenplay MUST be bound with two or three brads.

** No substitutions of new drafts, or corrected pages, for any screenplay, for any reason, will be accepted after the initial submission. Please enter the draft you are most confident about.

** No individual feedback or coverage will be made available pertaining to submitted screenplays.
