The Festival also acknowledges special projects through additional awards each year.

Category Rules

Please see General Rules for more details, but note that:

1. Any original work of fiction 41 minutes or longer may submit in the Narrative Features category.

2. The Student Fee discount is intended for college and university students, as well as students K-12 who wish to submit to the Narrative Features category. Please include or email a copy of your Student ID with your submission. Name of school in which student is currently enrolled must accompany submission.

3. Films must have been completed after January 1, 2016.

4. All films must be available to screen during the Naples International Film Festival, October 26-29, 2017.

5. Films must not have screened theatrically in Florida or be widely available in the U.S. for video, Internet or television distribution prior to October 26-29, 2017. Short films may have screened online.

Films must not have shown publicly in Collier or Lee Counties prior to screening at the Naples International Film Festival, October 26-29, 2017.

If you are unsure if your film is eligible for festival consideration, please check with us before entering your film by emailing naplesfilmfest@artisnaples.org. Refunds will not be issued once a film is submitted.

6. All films must be submitted and paid for through withoutabox.com. Entries must be received by July 7, 2017. The Festival is not obligated to view late entries.

7. The Festival accepts secure online screeners through Withoutabox, Vimeo and YouTube. The Naples International Film Festival no longer accepts DVD screeners for submissions.

8. Artis–Naples reserves the right to make exceptions to the above rules at its sole discretion. Any exceptions to the submission rules must be approved by Artis—Naples.
