Puffin Award
For the second year in a row we are pleased to announce a $1,000 total screening fee award dedicated to the works chosen for our Saturday Morning Cartoons/First Night screenings. The child-friendly animated works chosen for the screenings will receive a screening fee for the use of their work thanks to the generosity of the Puffin Foundation West, Ltd.

Cash Travel Awards
This year we have $1000 to bring filmmakers to our festival. We also have an honorarium from the Greater Columbus Arts Council to award a filmmaker to help adjudicate the 2015 GCAC Fellowships in Media.

Best of Fest Award
A special panel chooses the best of the Silver Chris winners for the Best Of Festival Award.

The Bronze Plaque
The Bronze Plaque is engraved with an etching of the Christopher Columbus statue mentioned above. The inscription plate, restyled in 1994, is mounted on a bronze plate on a 7" x 9" cherry wood base.

Category Rules

Animated films of all genres under 45 minutes are invited to submit. A special award and screening for children's animation will be given as part of our Saturday Morning Cartoons from Around the World program.

• If accepted, filmmakers will need to provide a prores 422 file of there completed film and a DVD backup along with a high-resolution photo file for printed materials.

• Entry title, name of entrant and withoutabox tracking number must be on all materials and containers.

• Separate applications are required for each film—even if one entity is submitting more than one film.

EXHIBITION FORMAT
• The Columbus International Film + Video Festival prefers to screen digital files at this time. If not available, arrangements can be made to screen on DVD or Blu-Ray

• We do not accept HD-Cam as an exhibition format.

In your Withoutabox Online Project Details, please include:
1. A 30-word synopsis of your film (to be used in press materials).

2. A one-paragraph synopsis of your film.

3. A list of previous screenings and any awards.

4. Digital press kit will be requested if accepted.

6. Completed entry form (One entry form per submission. Work entered in multiple categories must be accompanied by an entry form for each category).
