CATEGORY RULES
Indie Memphis is waiving its Memphis Premiere requirement for Hometowner short films. Short films submitted in the Hometowner category may have been publicly exhibited in Memphis prior to the 2014 festival dates. Please note: the size and frequency of any local screenings or public airings will weigh on final programming decisions, since we are unable to include everything that is submitted.

The Memphis Premiere requirement is still in place for Hometowner documentary and narrative features. Feature films that are publicly screened or aired in Memphis prior to the 2013 festival dates are not eligible for submission, and will only be invited to submit in rare situations.
