Grand Jury Prize - Narrative Feature
IFFBoston's signature trophy is presented to the Grand Jury Prize winner. In-kind prizes vary year-to-year, and range from $3000-$8000.

Special Jury Prize - Narrative Feature
The Special Jury Prize winner is presented with a framed award certificate and a prize with an in-kind value from $1000 to $3000. Prizes vary from year-to-year.

Audience Award - Narrative Feature
The Audience Award prize winner is presented with a framed award certificate.

Category Rules

Narrative Features may be in any language. If the language is one other than English then English subtitles are required. Length of features may be anywhere from 30 minutes to 150 minutes. Narrative Features include live action, animation, and experimental features. Films that have screened prior to May 2016 are not eligible for screening. Films with distribution in place are accepted, but filmmaker must notify IFFBoston of the films distribution status and distributor contact info.Films will not be accepted if they formally premiere in Massachusetts prior to festival. Accepted films may not screen in the state of Massachusetts between time of acceptance and screening at the Independent Film Festival Boston.
