Louis le Prince International Short Film Competition - Best International Fiction Short
Running for over ten years at Leeds International Film Festival, the award is named after the French-born, Leeds-based inventor who filmed the world's first ever moving images in Leeds in 1888. The LIFF team loves short films and we consider an extraordinary diversity of work from around the world. The winning film will be considered for nomination for an Academy Award as LIFF is a qualifying film festival.

Best British Short
LIFF celebrates the work of new and original talent in short filmmaking from across the UK. All selected British shorts will be considered for BAFTA nomination as LIFF is a qualifying film festival.
