Category Rules

Comedy Feature Films can be live-action, animated, narrative or mockumentary in style. As long as the film is funny, it will have an opportunity to be screened. All Comedy Feature Films must have a total runtime of more than 30 minutes in length including the credits. Maximum of 120 minutes including credits. Make sure that your edit and pacing are tight, and that your film is genuinely funny throughout. The main reason for rejecting feature films to our festival is slow pacing, slow scenes and slow editing. Also, please let us know if there is a representative from your feature film (Director, Actor, Producer) that can actually attend the festival in Houston for Q&A. This is important for our judges to know.
