The Jury Award for Best Documentary Short award is determined by the jury. Winner will receive a cash award.
Cash Award Value: 100 U.S. Dollar

Audience Choice Award
The Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary Short is chosen by the voting of those in attendance.

Best Screenplay
The Best Screenplay award is determined by a special panel of screenwriters and is chosen from all of the official selections for the Prescott Film Festival. Winner will receive a cash award.
This prize is shared with other categories.

Best Emerging Filmmaker
The Best Emerging Filmmaker award is determined by the jury and is chosen from all of the official selections for the Prescott Film Festival. Winner will receive a cash award. To be eligible for this award the director or screenwriter must be making their first film per IMDB credits.
This prize is shared with other categories.

Category Rules

E. An Emerging Filmmaker is defined as a director or screenwriter making their first film per IMDB credits. Submissions will be checked against IMDB to confirm status.

Please provide a secure Vimeo or similar link and password for preview screening purposes. If you are unable to provide such a link, please contact our Director of Programming (programming@prescottfilmfestival.com) to make other arrangements.

Fees are nonrefundable.

Filmmakers are responsible for postage to the festival and return postage for exhibition copies. If you would like your exhibition copy returned, please include a self-addressed stamped video mailer with your submission after acceptance. While the Festival will take precautions to handle your film responsibly, the festival, its committee, agents and staff cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any materials entered.
