Category Rules

The Awards for Best Short Films in a specific category are voted by LDV Film Society, and - when announced - by the audience among all the short winners screened at the festival. They wins as a title (Award given to the director or producer).

The Nominee filmmakers' films are shown only to LDV Film Society members (for voting) who serves as an Institutional Jury, therefore able to keep the premiere status. Milan premiere is required, but if the film is an ABSOLUTE ITALIAN PREMIERE, (never been screened on Italian territory at any festival or event), any production is eligible to be accepted.
