SUBMITTING A VIMEO LINK: We're okay with this. You will need to include the LINK and PASSWORD in your WAB Cover Letter, then make sure the link does NOT expire prior to AUGUST 15th.

EXHIBITION COPIES: For festival screenings, we are NOT able to exhibit digital files, Digi-Beta or 16mm. Upon acceptance, we will need to RECEIVE your exhibition copy by... SEPTEMBER 15.

BROADCAST: Projects that HAVE BEEN broadcast on television in Alberta (including NetFlix) are NOT eligible. Films that are available for PURCHASE or DOWNLOAD in Canada prior to the festival are also NOT eligible.

Upon acceptance, we will request that your film be temporarily removed from public online viewing until after EIFF (October 10).

PREMIERE STATUS: Priority is given to films which have NOT screened in Edmonton PRIOR to the festival -- this includes screenings that are ticketed or FREE and Cast & Crew screenings.

COMPLETION DATE: Preference is given to films completed after JANUARY 1, 2015.

ENTRY DEADLINE: All deadlines are POSTMARKED ONLY dates -- NOT the dates they need to be at the EIFF offices. If the DEADLINE date lands on a weekend or statutory holiday, we accept submissions postmarked on the next business day.

ALL OTHER SUBMISSION RULES are in the GENERAL RULES/REGULATIONS.
