The Wedgie Award for Comedy
We're so f-ing cold up here that LAUGHING is the one thing that keeps us warm. Oh, and sex of course. Make us laugh, make us cry laughing... our programming team will choose their favorite COMEDY film or stand-out comedic actor from all submission categories. We don't have, like, a real cash prize at the time of writing this. Hoping to secure a sponsor by festival time. If not, we hope you'll accept our humble adoration. And maybe a wedgie.
Sponsor:In Production (we're workin' on it!)
This prize is shared with other categories.

The Big Daddy: Family Film Award
Narrative and documentary features and shorts are in competition for the prestigious Family Film Award. Edmonton has a respected reputation as the greatest Canadian city to raise kids.
