Category Rules

PLEASE SUBMIT ANY PRODUCTIONS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE MEXICAN OR REGIONAL GUANAJUATO COMPETITION IN THESE CATEGORIES RATHER THAN IN THE GENERAL INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY.

Films submitted in the Mexican and Guanajuato categories shall be considered for national and international competition alike.

A Mexican Production is defined by at least a portion of the budget being provided by a Mexican Investor and/or the film`s director being a Mexican Citizen.

If not automatically evident from your submission data why your film should be considered Mexican or local, please specify in your cover letter.
